Process for ATA Carnet Preparation

We will furnish a Power of Attorney, which must be filled out by the US Entity/Carnet Holder (U.S. citizen) which authorizes Packair to represent and raise the carnet on behalf of the applicant.  The U.S. Council will only issue ATA Carnet to American entity, therefore, the carnet will need to be raised under the name of the local Individual or its local US company, and there is no way around that.

Here's the list of information is required for us to legally generate an ATA Carnet on behalf of U.S. Entity.
  • ATA Carnet Power of Attorney
  • Full Name of U.S. Citizen or its entity, address, telephone number, fax number, and Federal Tax ID Number or EIN
  • Detailed list of all gear with make, model, serial numbers (if any), Quantity, per item Value in USD, Country or Origin (where gear was manufactures NOT purchased)
  • List of authorized representative(s) for  both U.S. and the U.K.  that will be allowed to use the ATA Carnet
  • Name of countries he will be visiting during his trip
  • Address where he would like the ata carnet mailed to in the United States
Please note:  Once the carnet is raised, no changes and/or additions can be made.  It is very important to have a  confirmed and final list prior to carnet submission.
